Restricted to Standard Software Key Code Upgrade
The Compact ICS 4x8 Restricted Software can be
upgraded by purchasing the Restricted to Standard Software Key Code.
This software key code immediately enables the additional 8 stations
within the core unit, making 16 stations available without additional
hardware. The software key code also enables the second universal trunk
slot to support an additional trunk cartridge. Adding a Combination
Services Cartridge allows further station expansion from 16 to 24.
The 4x8 software cartridge itself does not have to be replaced at any
time during this expansion process. On a Compact ICS 4x16 system with
Standard Software, adding a Combination Services Cartridge expands the
number of station ports from 16 to 24.
More lines are added by purchasing either an analog trunk cartridge (for
4 CO lines) or an ISDN-BRI cartridge (for up to 8 ISDN digital circuits).
The cartridge is inserted in the second universal trunk slot on the core
unit. |
